At-home abortions are about to go up.
Federal regulations and laws have changed, allowing most pharmacies to dispense chemical abortion pills. CVS and Walgreens have agreed to stock the abortion pill in their pharmacies, making it even easier for women to abort their babies alone, with nearly no medical oversight and no follow-up.
Abortion-inducing pills do more than just take the lives of the most vulnerable among us, they hurt women too. Studies show that the abortion pill now accounts for the majority of abortions, and this number is only going to increase. These drugs include a 53% greater risk of a complications, including death, compared to a surgical abortion.

One-third of women (34%) who had a chemical abortion “reported an adverse change in themselves, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and thoughts of suicide,” according to a study of post-abortive women conducted by the group Support After Abortion.
