Every day our nurses have the privilege to see heart transformations. Almost every woman comes in carrying more than a pregnancy—she carries fear, pressure, confusion, and a decision she never imagined she would have to make.
When she arrives, we recognize it as answered prayer—prayers lifted up in advance, trusting that the Lord orders her steps. Her paperwork may say she is seeking an abortion, yet she still comes in for an ultrasound… answered prayer… a sacred moment.
A nurse’s role is simple and profound: provide excellent medical care, speak truth with compassion, and love without condition; no judgment—only presence.
There is something powerful about seeing a life for the very first time—watching a tiny heart beating and the gentle movement of a baby on the screen. Something shifts. Fear loosens its grip. Pressure loses its voice. Love—unexpected and overwhelming—enters the room. For many women, it’s a moment they never expected.
And in that quite space, what a joy it is to hear her say, “I’m keeping my baby.”
For those who give, who pray, who support this work: this is your impact: You are the reason fear turns into courage, and a life—often two—are forever changed.
