At the closing of Volunteer Appreciation Month

As I reflect on the closing of Volunteer Appreciation Month this April, I know I can speak for myself and the staff that our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the selfless service, unwavering dedication, and the countless acts of kindness that have left a lasting impact on the lives we are privileged to serve.

Life Choices is blessed to witness the Body of Christ at work in many beautiful and unique ways. Some of you give of your time and presence, faithfully serving on-site—listening, praying, and walking alongside women and families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Others support this mission through generous financial giving—sacrificially offering from your resources so that life-saving care and the love of Christ can continue to reach those who need it most. And many of you uplift this ministry in prayer, covering our staff, patients, and community with spiritual strength and protection.

Each act of service, whether seen or unseen, is indispensable. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 12:12–27, the Body of Christ is made up of many parts. Each one is different, yet each one is vital. The foot is no less important than the hand. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you.” In God’s perfect design, every member matters.

Whether your role is up front or behind the scenes, whether you serve with your hands, your heart, or your resources, you are essential to this ministry.

There is no such thing as a small part when God is the One orchestrating the

body. He has placed each of us where we are with divine purpose, and together, we form one unified body working to bring hope, help, and healing in His name.

So, from all of the Life Choices Staff, thank you. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you for trusting us with your time, your talents, and your treasures. Thank you for being a vital part of this mission to defend life and share the truth and love of Christ with every person we serve.
